Deborah is a senior HR generalist, and a former HR Director for an international organisation. She currently works as an associate for Emerge and is a key member of our core delivery team.

She has a passion for learning and development and specialises in HR related programmes as well as Management and Leadership Development. With over 12 years’ experience leading organisational change and performance initiatives she brings a wealth of knowledge to her interventions and can identify with delegates from the corporate world.

Deborah has been working as an associate member of the Emerge consultancy team for 6 years and has successfully delivered programmes into most of our leading clients. These programmes include Management and Employee Development, Recruitment and Selection Skills, Performance Management and Employee Law.

Deborah has a warm and engaging style; high emotional intelligence and she is sensitive to the needs of her learners. She debunks management speak and makes her messages accessible, pragmatic, and relevant. Her courses are fun and informative, and she receives outstanding feedback from her delegates.

Background and Experience

In Deborah’s last corporate role, she was HR Director in an international organisation and previous roles included Training & Development Manager. Within these roles she was responsible for setting up and developing HR functions at a strategic level, Training Design, Delivery and Evaluation, Change Management Programmes and Communication Strategies,

As a consultant, Deborah has provided training and development solutions for a range of companies in various topics ranging from customer services and management development to HR and leadership. She brings a level of enthusiasm and passion to her work and has a natural ability to lead, support and coach individuals and teams.

Key trainer for this 2 day programme for the last two years and which continues to be rolled out across the organisation.

Ace Insurance

Key trainer for Performance Management and Selection Interviewing programme across UK, Stockholm and Germany.

Ordnance Survey

Designed and delivered assessed Recruitment Interviewing programme, 2 day, plus refresher aimed at all personnel involved in recruiting people.

Deborah also delivers Selection Interviewing programmes to BAE Systems, AMS, Astrium, ACE European, Kingston University and many other organisations.

Debs is a Graduate member of the CIPD and licensed to deliver TSA, SDI and Thomas International Personality Profiling.
